JUVEDERM Brentwood

While you are in Brentwood, take in some of the sites of this town.  The city of 51,000 is on the east bay of the San Francisco Bay area. The population has increased by 121 percent since the 2000 census. The town is in farming country, and has made the transition from a farming community to a suburb of San Francisco. It has kept some of its history though. You may still see the original water tower, that remains the highest structure in the town.

There is an art, wine and jazz festival every August. The downtown area has been preserved for the most part and is now a trendy shopping area. Marsh Creek State Park is on the edge of town, and is the start of the Marsh Creek Trail. You may still see the home of John Marsh, who is credited with starting the town, but the building itself is not open. There are several fruit and vegetable stands selling produce grown in the area, and every Saturday morning there is a farmers market in the downtown area. Several nature preserves are also in the area. The East Contra Costa Historical Society and Museum operates a county museum just east of town.
