AFT Photofacial

Advanced Fluorescent Light Technology (AFT) is an effective technology that is used to eliminate facial redness, flushing, pigmentation, fine lines, and wrinkles on the skin. The treatment is most commonly used on the face, hands, neck, and chest areas. The technology helps convert wavelengths of light that are normally short and harmful into therapeutic and helpful wavelengths. Many find the treatment to be effective in restoring a more youthful appearance to your skin. There is no downtime with minimal risks involved in the procedure. Below is a brief overview of AFT Photofacial benefits.

AFT Treatment

A warm bright light is flashed and delivered through the equipment to about one square inch of skin. Within a split second, the bright light is shone onto your skin via intense light bursts and helps to rejuvenate your skin. One flash is delivered every two to four seconds. The treatment method is also effective in healing spider veins, sun spots, microorganisms, and bacteria. Another important benefit of AFT treatment is that the method will help stimulate the production of collagen in your skin while treating the blemishes on it. A patient will require 3-4 sessions of treatments about 3-5 weeks apart for the best results.

AFT Photofacial Benefits

There are many important benefits of this treatment method such as skin tone and pigmentation, reduced skin imperfections, eliminating the appearance of spider veins, removing red spots, reduction in pore size, smooth and younger looking skin, etc. A treatment session will last for 10-20 minutes depending on the area of treatment. About 1 to 3 light pulses will touch a surface area of an inch of your skin, depending on how much treatment your skin requires. The pulse is painless thanks to the advances in technology and equipment. If you feel mild discomfort, a topical anesthetic will be used to numb the area. AFT is used on any type of skin. Our address at 1590 Rosecrans Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 is open by appointment only please call.

The city has grown immensely since those early days, and there is no shortage of attractions to check out for tourists and residents alike.

Below you will learn about two popular and iconic restaurants you should consider visiting if you ever find yourself in the Manhattan Beach area. You’ll never go hungry in Manhattan Beach. The area is lined with restaurants from one end of the beach to the other. It’s not possible to hit them all, but there are a couple you should definitely check out if you’re in the area. One is Uncle Bill’s Pancake House. This cozy cafe has been around for 53 years and serves breakfast and lunch daily with patio seating and beautiful views of the ocean.

For fans of beer, burgers and a laid back atmosphere, the second dining spot to hit is Ercoles, a dive bar that isn’t a dive bar. This place has been around since the 1960s and serves good draft beer and burgers many claim are the best in town. These two iconic dining spots are must see attractions if you ever find yourself in Manhattan Beach. You may enjoy them so much you don’t eat anywhere else while you’re there.
